Quiz-y, Quiz, Quiz.

Hey, what's been going on? All of the sudden, my life got twenty times busier than I was ready for. School all week, Friday I went to youth and saw my British friends, Saturday Addison and I had band, then lunch with our band friends, then we had another friend coming over for a sleepover, and to top it all off, Mom had some friends over for dinner who didn't leave until one. (Since they got here at nine.) And on Sunday we had church and then lunch with friends and an hour's worth of home work. I know,  busy, busy, bee. :) Luckily it included a lot of food. :) But, at a request, I have a character quiz that I am just freestylin'. We'll see how this turns out. :D  I chose to do a new character from a small project I've been working on for little over three days. It will not be done any time soon, just to warn you. :D Without further chit-chat, the quiz, ladies and gentlemen.

Character name: Raven. Sorry, she didn't tell me her last name. :)

Age: That too is classified. But I can tell you she's less than twenty and she's more than fourteen.

Appearance: Not extremely pretty, she's got straight raggedly cut black hair and purple eyes. And some say her skin glows white. Not that she'd tell me.

1. What do you know about this character now that she doesn't know yet?

   She has hyperthymesia. 

2. What is this character's greatest flaw?

  She has hyperthymesia. She can hold a grudge for a loooonnng time.

3. What do you know about this character that she would never admit?

She's a genius.    

4. What is this character's greatest asset?

   She's resourceful.

5. If this character could choose a different identity, who would she be?

  Her older cousin. Her cousin is a model so she gets paid enough to live on. 

6. What music does this character sing when no one else is around?

Definetly no mainstream. Indie rock or alternative. Mostly, though, there is no time for singing. 

7. In what or whom does this character have the greatest faith?

  Mostly her friend Nash. I mean, his name is Nash. That alone would scare off anyone.

8. What is this character's favorite movie?

  Movies? What are movies. (If she had one, it would be After Earth. Though she would laugh at the whole "fear is a choice" thing.)

9. Does this character have a favorite article of clothing?

   Tight black clothes and combat boots. With a place for her swords, naturally.

10. Does this character have a vice?  Name it.

She is constantly arguing if someone praises her. She has her reasons, she just told me. 

11. Name this character's favorite living/dead person.

   She has no favorite person. She prefers her ferret, Ishmael. (Ash, for short.) If she had to have one, though,  it would be Nash.

12. What is this character's secret wish?

   That she were prettier. Then life might be easier.

13. What is this character's proudest achievement?

She beat the top sword fighter for twenty years her first time fighting with a sword. People call her a natural, but I know different….(Bwahaha!)

14. Describe this character's most embarrassing moment.

   Being caught by the earthquakes. Everyone else was inside, she should've guessed what was coming.

15. What is this character's deepest regret?

  She let her little brother leave to find work to support them, an hour before the earthquakes started. He never came back.

16. What is this character's greatest fear?

   Fire. Fire or getting slashed across the back with a sword. Or drowning.

17. Describe this character's most devastating moment.

  When she watched at age five as her dad shot her mom to save her from the wrath of the soldiers. Then he shot himself. Raven was left to take care of her new-born brother. 

18. What is this character's greatest achievement?

  Learning to fight with a sword. She put on sword fights for money by challenging the top sword fighter at the time.

19. What is this character's greatest hope?

  That she'll die a quick death. 

20. Does this character have an obsession?  Name it.

Staying alive. Or perhaps trying to find the meaning for life. Or the meaning of the earthquakes.

21. What is this character's greatest disappointment?

Her uncle didn't take her in when she turned twelve as he had promised. That's when she met Nash.

22. What is this character's worst nightmare?

   That Nash will leave her.

23. Whom does this character most wish to please?  Why?

   Probably Nash. He is stern and always unimpressed. She wishes to please him to show him she can do things. (So spiteful…)

24. Describe this character's mother.

   A woman who lived in total fear. She kept the house dark and always spotless. She wouldn't cook for fear of burns, she wouldn't clean for fear of tripping over something and dying, she wouldn't drive them to school for fear of a car accident…But she loved everyone and cared for them. Emotionally, not physically, though.

25. Describe this character's father.

 A tough man who had high standards and right morals. He was a prison warden. He didn't get paid nearly enough, but he kept them alive. The only problem was his flip side personality disease. Sometimes he would come home as a mean, drunken brawler due to this disease.   

26. If she had to choose, with whom would this character prefer to live?

  She would rather live with her Mom and Dad but, as she says, "Nash is home." 

27. Where does this character fall in birth order?  What effect does this have?

   She is the oldest. This meant she was burdened with a new-born brother to take care of till his death ten years later.

28. Describe this character's siblings or other close relatives.

   Her brother was tall, strong, and brawny. He was often mistaken as being older than ten. (by eight years…) 

29. Describe this character's bedroom.  Include three cherished items.

   Anywhere in the rocks. Three cherished items? Nash, Nash, and Nash. She has nothing else except the clothes on her back. 

30. What is this character's birth date?  How does this character manifest traits of his/her astrological sign?

  Birth date? Sometime before the trouble began. In the winter, most likely. Astrological sign? Who cares?!

31. If this character had to live in seclusion for six months, what six items would she bring?

Her sword. Food, water. That's really all she's ever had. Oh, I guess clothes. And Nash.(That was Raven. She wrestled me to the ground to get at the keyboard. See what kind of a person she is?) (Yes, a very passionate person, eh?) 

32. What makes this character angry?

  People who say they "can't" Or spiders. In her own words, "Why should spiders have an easier life than me?" 

33. What calms this character?

  Beating a rock with a sword. Or slapping Nash. Or both.

34. List the circumstances over which this character has no control.

   The time period she was born in. And her Uncle refusing to care for her and her brother. 

35. What wakes this character in the middle of the night?

   Usually a snake crawling over her. Or nightmares. 

36. How would a stranger describe this character?

Unconventional. Crazy. Coo-koo. Off her rocker. Or some really nice person might say over-extremely passionate. (That might be a disease…I'll look into that…)

37. What does this character resolve to do differently every morning?

   Stop thinking about her brother.  It was two years ago. I should be over it. (But her over-extremely passionate disease can't let her. :D)

48. Who depends on this character?  Why?

   Though she doesn't know it, Nash does. His twin sister was killed two years ago. Raven reminds him of her. (Even though they couldn't be more different.)

49. If this character knew she had exactly one month to live, what would she do?

  She would stand on top of a mountain and wait. She might ask for a cup of tea. Then she'd probably do something crazy.

50. How would a dear friend or relative describe this character?

   Nash always says she is one of those people who says they are going to do something, but rarely do it. But she does always do as she threatens. He also calls her over-extremely passionate. 

51. What is this character's most noticeable physical attribute?

   Her purple eyes. They do wonders. Plus that shining white skin.

52. What is this character hiding from himself?

  Her fear.  I do not hide my feeling from myself. I hide my craziness. (And her feelings.)

53. Write one additional thing about your character.:

She can not help but be naturally inquisitive. She's gotten into a few bad scrapes because of it. Nash calls it the curse. Raven thinks her hyperthymesia is her curse. And her purple eyes.
