Best experiment ever!

I really want to apologize for my lack of posts. But, if it makes it any better, I've been busy and I'm sick. Soooooooo, yehp.

So I went to Greece over the summer. And it was as amazing as it sounds. All in all, it was an awesome trip! I saw all the famous old sites in Athens, then stopped at Delphi, continued to the old capitol, Nafplio. We swam in super clear water too. :) Then we went to an island to just relax. The water was so clear and the sand was so soft! Then we went to another island, Oia, Santorini. We went to a beach and oh. My. Word. The water was so blue it was ridiculous! Then the second day we went on a catamaran that took us (and 45 other people, and it was considered a small boat tour as well...heh heh) to thermal springs at the base of an island inhabited by a dormant volcano. Our next stop was at an extremely blue beach, that also happened to be extremely cold. But the best part was a the last stop, the white beach. The water was about 15 feet deep, but we could see straight to the bottom. Then, we were able to go snorkeling at this beach. It was amazing!

Also, any Beatrix Potter fans out there on the World Wide Web? We went to the lake district in England this summer as well, where Potter's books are set. We climbed the famous Cat Bells and generally it was amazing, except for some slight complications on the way back home....:)

Then Addison and I went on this FABULOUS AND AWESOME AND GENERALLY AMAZING camp called Soul Survivor. We actually had to sleep in tents, and haha, believe it or not, it was very windy and very difficult to put a tent up. But it was an awesome camp with amazing speakers, and if your interested, you can check out some the talks from the organization here. Mike Pilavachi is so hilarious and is a great speaker. But anyways we had a dry paint fight which was awesome too. :) If you ever get a chance to go, please do!

And two Sunday's ago, I went to Houston!! Which was awesome and cool because it was just me and my dad, and my dad was working so I was spoiled by my grandparents. :) And I flew in last Friday, and have been jetlagged ever since. The end.

Okay that is the end of my brief history of my oh-so-important summer of 2014.

And really quick, I want to tell everyone a new favorite band: Of Monster's and Men. (Which I'm sure you've heard of, but in case you haven't...:)) And one of my childhood favorites: Eric Hutchinson. He just came out with a new album, Pure Fiction. I really encourage you to check him out!

But to the point, shall we? :)

So recently, I was watching an Of Monsters' and Men music video. (because I can't afford to buy the songs. :)) And I scrolled down to the comments, and someone had asked what the music video was about. Someone had explained and all but then another person had commented saying she decided to write a story about it because it was so interesting and different. And that got me thinking.

So I picked out songs (Watch the music video, if all it is someone playing an instrument and singing, just make up a story from the lyrics..) that I am going to create a story on and  that I encourage you to write a story on them. Either keep it to yourself, share in the comments, or post on your own blog. But I will write the stories and post them
later on a separate post. :) Enjoy!

1. "Forever" Eric Hutchinson; Pure Fiction

2. "Mykonos" Fleet Foxes

3. "Never Gonna Change" Broods; Evergreen

So yup have fun, knock yourself out. :)

Happy Writing!
